In accordance with Article III (Membership and Fees) of the CEAL Bylaws, if you are a member of the Association for Asian Studies and a subscriber to the Journal of East Asian Libraries (JEAL), you may choose to become a voting member of the Council on East Asian Libraries (CEAL).  (Article III states that "...a subscriber shall have the option of not becoming a member of CEAL if he/she so desires.")  

A personal subscription to JEAL is $30.00 annually. 

To begin your subscription to JEAL, please: 

1. Print out the form (click here for the form) 

2. Fill it out as completely as possible

3. Please indicate your preference on becoming a voting member of CEAL

4. Remember to report any changes in address, phone number, etc.

5. Include your check or money order for $30.00, payable to: The Association for Asian Studies, Inc.,

6. Mail the completed application to:
