CEAL members may send a request to become a CEAL Affiliate by email to the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.eastasianlib.org\/newsite\/about\/eb\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">CEAL president<\/a>. The email request should include 1) the objectives of the group and 2) the name and affiliation of the convener.\u00a0 If CEAL affiliated status is granted, the group&#8217;s three-year term will begin following Executive Board approval at the AAS\/CEAL annual meeting.<\/p>\n<p>Affiliates must be open to any\u00a0CEAL member in good standing, and their meetings must be announced on\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.eastasianlib.org\/newsite\/about\/mailing-lists\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Eastlib<\/a>.
