We are excited to announce that we are now accepting applications for the CEAL Leadership Institute 2020\uff01<\/p>\n
The goal of the CEAL Leadership Institute 2020 is to educate a new generation of leaders to meet the challenges and opportunities in the digital age. Maureen Sullivan<\/a>, in close consultation with the CEAL Leadership Institute 2020 Task Force, has designed the program to meet the particular needs of East Asian librarians to enhance their leadership skills.<\/p>\n Program Components<\/strong><\/p>\n February date TBD, noon-1pm:\u00a0 Virtual session with Maureen Sullivan<\/p>\n March 17th, 2020, 8:30am-3:30pm: on-site training with Maureen Sullivan\u00a0 (Agenda<\/a>)<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n April date TBD, noon-1pm:\u00a0 Virtual session on Fundraising<\/p>\n May date TBD, noon-1pm:\u00a0 Virtual session on Leadership in East Asian Libraries and CEAL Today<\/p>\n Upon successful completion of both the online and on-site sessions, participants will be awarded a certificate.<\/p>\n Meals<\/strong><\/p>\n Refreshment and lunch will be provided.<\/p>\n Accommodation<\/strong><\/p>\n The on-site training will take place in the Forum Room of the Lamont Library<\/a> of Harvard University on March 17th<\/sup>, 2020. Attendees will be offered shared<\/strong> accommodation for March 16 (1 night)\u00a0at a hotel nearby (possibly the Charles Hotel<\/a>). If you do not wish to share the room with another participant, you will be expected to cover half of the hotel rate (rate per night is approximately $350.00). If you decide to stay in another hotel, you will be responsible for your own accommodation.<\/p>\n
