As the Boston CEAL\/AAS conference is approaching, some CEAL members have expressed concerns and questions about the Novel Coronavirus COVID-19 and its impact on the conference. We full understand and appreciate your concerns and questions.\u00a0 After consulting with AAS leadership and discussions of CEAL Executive Board, we would like to encourage CEAL members to check the “Special Message” page (https:\/\/www.asianstudies.org\/conference\/special-message\/ ) on AAS’s website for the most current updates of AAS’s measures and decisions regarding COVID-19 and AAS conference.\u00a0 As a committee of AAS, CEAL will follow the guidance and decisions of AAS.\u00a0 At this point, CEAL annual meeting and pre-conferences will take place as scheduled.\u00a0 Please do not hesitate to contact me or other EB members, if we could be of further help to your questions and concerns.<\/p>\n
