The access suspension of selected sub-databases from CNKI has caused much hardship on Chinese studies. Thanks to those who sent us suggestions. CCM members have been working hard to document the discussion and suggestions, while we are exploring ways to better share information and best practices on ongoing and new collection development, current subscriptions, local collection focuses, and etc. We agree with our counterparts in Europe that it’s necessary to express our strong and collective concerns as library professional organizations. We have published this joint statement and appreciate your attention and your support during this challenging time.
