Position Summary: Under the supervision of the Head of Technical Services of the East Asia Library, the Chinese Technical Services Librarian is responsible for cataloging Chinese language materials in all formats, and supervises the technical services team of Chinese materials. The Librarian should bring to this position a thorough understanding of latest cataloging rules and tools. She/he should be knowledgeable about all aspects of the acquisitions workflows in a research library setting and be capable of supervising acquisition workflows, including ordering, receiving, claiming, serials check-in, outsourcing management and reports.
