Library of Congress China Section: Librarian (two positions)

Position Summary:  The China Section, Asian and Middle Eastern Division of the Library of Congress is pleased to commence application for two full-time librarians, December 22, 2020. The position requires the ability to read and speak Chinese; knowledge of the literatures and cultures, history, politics, and economics of China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Inner Asia and Inner Mongolia. Successful candidates will demonstrate knowledge of  metadata and linked data standards, principles and practices of collection development and management for both print and electronic resources.
